Common Concerns

Claustrophobia is a main concern of users prior to their float session. However, people report no symptoms whilst floating due to the combination of our spacious tanks and lack of light – leaving you feeling free with no constraints.

No. Due to the amount of salt in the water, your body will naturally be buoyant, keeping you effortlessly afloat.

Our water experiences high filtration contentiously throughout the day. The water is treated with small amounts of steriliser and is sanitised with UV light. Each tank is emptied and refilled with fresh water after each session.

After each floating session, our tanks are emptied and refilled, ensuring excellent sanitation. The water that is emptied is carefully filtered through a 1 micron and ozone filter after each use – making this clean enough to drink each time.

No. We provide everything you need for your session. However, please see our ‘How to Float’ page for tips on how to prepare for your float.

You have experienced symptoms of diarrhoea in the past 14-days
You have open wounds
You have been diagnosed with an infectious disease

We advised you to wait at least 30-days before floating – the salt water can cause a painful burning sensation and also damage your tattoo.

Yes. We advise that you prepare in the same way as if you were swimming.

No, each room is identical. All rooms include the flotation tank, a shower and amenities to provide you with a premium experience.

For each session, we will provide you with a water bottle in case you need to rinse out your eyes. The saltwater may sting a little, so we recommend you avoid touching your eyes during the session.
