What if I’m claustrophobic?
Claustrophobia is a main concern of users prior to their float session. However, people report no symptoms whilst floating due to the combination of our spacious tanks and lack of light – leaving you feeling free with no constraints.
Can I drown if I fall asleep?
No. Due to the amount of salt in the water, your body will naturally be buoyant, keeping you effortlessly afloat.
How is the water cleaned?
Our water experiences high filtration contentiously throughout the day. The water is treated with small amounts of steriliser and is sanitised with UV light. Each tank is emptied and refilled with fresh water after each session.
How often do you replace the water?
After each floating session, our tanks are emptied and refilled, ensuring excellent sanitation. The water that is emptied is carefully filtered through a 1 micron and ozone filter after each use – making this clean enough to drink each time.
Do I need to bring anything?
No. We provide everything you need for your session. However, please see our ‘How to Float’ page for tips on how to prepare for your float.
Can I float?
Who is unable to float? When can I not float?
You can’t float if:
We advise you not to float if:
You have recently had a tattoo You are under the influence of illegal substances or alcohol You have recently dyed your hair or applied tanning products You have experienced symptoms of diarrhoea in the past 14-days You have open wounds You have been diagnosed with an infectious disease
Can I float if I recently dyed my hair or spray tanned?
No. We advise that you leave a minimum of 48-hours after you have dyed your hair or applied tanning products. The chemicals from these products can leak into the water and damage the float tanks.
Can I float if I'm pregnant?
Yes. Floating can bring many benefits to pregnancy, helping to relieve tensions in the body. Please do consult with your doctor beforehand.
Can I float if I have a new tattoo?
We advised you to wait at least 30-days before floating – the salt water can cause a painful burning sensation and also damage your tattoo.
Can I float if I'm menstruating?
Yes. We advise that you prepare in the same way as if you were swimming.
How long are the floats sessions?
Each session will last 60-minutes, with an additional 25-minutes to allow you to change and shower before and after your floating session.
When should I arrive for my appointment?
If it is your first float please arrive no later than 15-minutes prior to your scheduled session. This will give you enough time to have a brief from our trained employee and to ask any questions. For any float sessions after your first time, please arrive 5-minutes before.
What is your cancellation policy?
Our cancellation policy is 24-hours. Please ensure to cancel or reschedule a float session with a minimum of 24-hour’s notice to ensure no charges are made to your card.
What is your refund or return policy?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept refunds or returns on any of our services. However, we do recommend feedback so please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Can couples float together?
Not in the same tank. Floating is an entirely individual experience.
What's the minimum age for floating?
You must be 16 years or above.
Are there any differences between the rooms?
No, each room is identical. All rooms include the flotation tank, a shower and amenities to provide you with a premium experience.
What happens if I get the saltwater in my eyes?
For each session, we will provide you with a water bottle in case you need to rinse out your eyes. The saltwater may sting a little, so we recommend you avoid touching your eyes during the session.
